It’s been a month already since I last posted on my blog. I have been busy with my work these past few weeks and haven’t been able to post any updates. So to make up for time, here are some bits of what I’ve been up to. As always, I’m preoccupied with my job as a full-time freelance web developer. But apart from work I have always made it a point to spend time with my wife and my family. Most of my weekends are spent going out with my wife and spending quality time together.
Finally got my own domain
As you may have noticed I have moved from my oatbox account to having my own domain. My oatbox account was free but had some limitations. It’s always good to have your own domain and hosting to have more control over your site. I have been planning about this for a long time but just got it made this month. Special thanks to my good friend Henry for making this possible.
Reading
On my free time, I sometimes read novels and books. After watching the HBO Series: Game of Thrones, I bought the book of the same title by George R.R. Martin from which the series was based on. I’ve always been a fan of fantasy novels. I haven’t finished reading the book yet but I’m glad that the TV series version did stick to the book as much as possible. If you’re a fan of the series or haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend getting this book. You can see more of the books I’ve read on the Good Reads widget on the right side bar of my site.
Hobbies and Collections
After watching this video by Acafe141 on Youtube, I started collecting World of Warcraft Action Figures by DC Unlimited. Luckily they were available at a local store so I need not order them online. I really like the details they put on these figures and being a fan of Warcraft myself (though I do not play World of Warcraft at all) I got hooked and started getting them. Here are some of the action figures that I have:
